Amazing Argan Oil

Argan oil, also known as Moroccan Oil or "Liquid Gold", is a pretty hot skin care buzz word.  Is this little oil really worth all the hype?

Argan oil is produced from the kernels of the argan tree, indigenous to Morocco.  It is loaded with Vitamin E.  In fact, argan oil has twice the amount of Vitamin E as olive oil, and some culinary chefs are replacing olive oil with argan oil in their kitchen.  Compared to a diet high in animal fats, argan oil contributes to significantly less harmful cholesterol levels in the body.

The Vitamin E, antioxidants, essential fatty acids and proteins found in argan oil are highly nutritious to the skin.  This oil has been shown to heal acne scars (and all scars) and prevent breakouts, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, helps to soothe dry and scaly skin, minimize scaring and stretchmarks, improve elasticity as well as texture and tone.  I must admit that argan oil is fabulous as a serum for... well, everyone!

Argan oil has fabulous anti-inflammatory properties, so it makes a great addition to any massage oil.  I use it frequently as a therapeutic addition to several facial and body applications in the treatment room.  I have seen it produce fantastic results across the board.  I know several women who swear by argan oil's ability to repair dry and damaged hair as well. This is one much-talked-about oil that I fully support.
